Waiting, anticipation, steady moving forward. The mind mulls over the sights and smells, the sound and rush of waves, methodically, rhythmically matching my breath. The pulse becomes me, the wait and run and wait and run of my collie, steps in the sand. When I sit later, I close my eyes and feel it again, then begin to work.... to create in the still - in the pulse.
Hello! I have been thinking a lot about waiting recently... I am an artist living in Sussex making paintings about the intuitive and sensitive human connection to the landscape.
